A method for managing payments wherein the method is implemented by a computer comprising a processor and a memory storing computing instructions to configure the processor to implement the method comprising: registering an administrator by storing an administrator record in the memory, wherein the administrator collects payments on behalf of a recipient; registering the recipient by storing a recipient record in the memory; receiving a confirmation that one or more payment requests were sent to a first set of one or more potential payors over one or more networks, wherein the one or more payment requests are associated with the recipient and the administrator; storing a payor record in memory for each potential payor of he first set of one or more potential payors; storing a link between the administrator record and each payor record for the first set of one or more first potential payors in the memory; receiving a confirmation that one or more payment requests were sent from a potential payor of the first set of one or more potential payors to a second set of one or more potential payors over a network, wherein the one or more payment requests are associated with the recipient; storing a payor record in memory for each potential payor of the second set of one or more potential payors; storing a link between payer record for the payor of the first set of one or more potential payors and each payor record for the second set of one or more potential payors in the database; receiving one or more payments for the recipient from a corresponding one or more payors of the second set of one or more potential payors; and for each of the one or more received payments, storing data identifying the received payment in association with the corresponding payor record.
