The present invention relates to a device for storing and providing user information, the device comprising: a user ID storage unit for storing an ID that can identify a user; a setup command reception unit for, when the ID that can identify a user is received, registering the received data to the user ID storage unit if data registered in the user ID storage unit does not exist; and a read command reception unit for, when a read command requiring an output of the ID that can identify a user is received, outputting data in the user ID storage unit to an output unit if the data registered in the user ID storage unit exists and outputting data in a unique ID storage unit to the output unit if data registered in the user ID storage unit does not exist. The present invention enables safer user identification as well as safer storage for user data. |
