The present invention relates to a separation and recovery method for recycling a by-product from chlorine bypass dust, which is extracted during a process of making cement, using a simple process. The present invention provides a method for recovering potassium chloride from the chlorine bypass dust, which comprises: a step for providing the chlorine bypass dust generated from exhaust gas which is extracted during the process of making cement; a step for making slurry by mixing the chlorine bypass dust, an acidic solution, and plaster powder; a step for injecting carbon dioxide into the mixed slurry; a first filtering step for filtering the slurry gone through the injection step by using a filter system; a step for removing heavy metals by re-injecting carbon dioxide into a filtrate of the first filtering step; a second filtering step for filtering solids generated in the heavy metal removal step by using the filtering system; a step for cooling the filtrate to remove sodium and sulfate ions in the same; and a step for drying the filtrate in which the sodium and sulfate ions are removed. According to the present invention, capital investment costs are low since process operating expenses and a configuration of facilities is not complicated, thereby being able to economically recover KCl. |
