PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and efficiently improve reduction of contrast of a radiographic image caused by scattered radiation.SOLUTION: A frequency resolution unit 22 acquires a plurality of band images by frequency-resolving a first radiographic image. A scattered radiation removal unit 23 uses a second radiographic image which is in linear relation to radiation dose to calculate a scattered radiation component of a subject included in the second radiographic image and removes the scattered radiation component from the second radiographic image to acquire a scattered radiation-removed radiographic image. A converting function determination unit 24 determines a converting function which converts at least one band image according to the scattered radiation component included in the second radiographic image. A reconstruction unit 26 converts the band image with the converting function and generates a converted band image. The scattered radiation-removed radiographic image and the converted band image are reconstructed to acquire a processed radiographic image. |
