PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic operation support device, an automatic operation support method and a program, which enable a lane change by automatic operation in a section outside a lane change prohibited section.SOLUTION: The automatic operation support device is provided with: road information acquisition means for acquiring road information that includes information on the lane change prohibited section of a road on which a self-vehicle travels; lane change determination means for determining, during automatic operation, whether or not to perform a lane change at a guide branch point present ahead of the self-vehicle; road determination means for determining, on the basis of the road information, whether or not the self-vehicle travels on the road that includes the lane change prohibited section; and control means for controlling the self-vehicle not to perform the lane change within the lane change prohibited section, and to perform the lane change in a section up to the guide branch point in a section other than the lane change prohibited section, if it is determined that the lane change is performed at the guide branch point and at the same time, determined that the self-vehicle travels on the road that includes the lane change prohibited section. |
