<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet type rotary electric machine that can deliver high efficiency in a wide operation range from low speed rotation to high speed rotation and can significantly reduce power consumption during operation.SOLUTION: A permanent magnet type rotary electric machine 1 comprises a stator 10 consisting of a stator core 11 and an armature coil 13, and a rotor 20 having a permanent magnet 23 magnetized by a magnetic field that is formed due to armature current. A polarity of the permanent magnet 23 is reversed for pole change by the magnetic field that forms due to armature current. The permanent magnet 23 is also magnetized to change an interlinkage flux by the magnetic field that is formed due to armature current.</p> |
