PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign material removing device capable of efficiently removing foreign materials such as a comparatively soft clot present in a biological tube such as a blood vessel while reducing leakage of body fluid such as blood, and a method for removing foreign materials in a biological tube using the same.SOLUTION: A foreign material removing device 1 is a device for removing foreign materials present in a biological tube, and includes a tubular first long body 2 having a lumen 21, a second long body 3 movable in the lumen 21 of the first long body 2, and an expandable and contractable film member 4 fixed on the wall surface of the first long body 2 and near the distal end of the second long body 3. |
