<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus performing partial segmentation continuously, while sequentially moving the segmentation region easily and appropriately, and to provide an image processing method, and a program of an image processing apparatus.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 10 performs partial segmentation continuously, while sequentially moving the segmentation region of a captured image, i.e., a live view image, or a still image easily and appropriately. For that purpose, a control unit 11 identifies a plurality of shooting targets included in a captured image, sets the size of a segmentation region, and a continuous migration path including between a plurality of shooting targets in the captured image, based on the size of the plurality of shooting targets, or the position in the captured image of the plurality of shooting targets, and performs partial image segmentation according to the segmentation size, while moving in the captured image along the migration path sequentially and moving.</p> |
