<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a write control device capable of performing a write that suits to the write characteristics of a storage device.SOLUTION: The write control device is characterized by having: write means for cutting out write data of a set write length from the received date that was received from an external source and writing the write data to an external storage device; measurement means for measuring a required write time from when a write of the write data to the storage device began to when the write is completed; and control means for changing the setting of the write length for the write means, acquiring the measurement result with respect to the write data for each of a plurality of different write lengths, and setting, as a write length, the most suitable write length that is a write length with which a write speed is fastest.</p> |
