<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user who is not an administrator to clear paper jamming while maintaining function of lock at the least level even if the paper jamming occurs at a place other than a paper feeding tray, relating to an image formation device equipped with a paper feeding tray with a lock mechanism.SOLUTION: An image formation device 1 includes paper feeding trays 16a, 16b, ..., lock mechanisms 15a, 15b, ... for locking the paper feeding trays 16a, 16b, ... respectively so that paper cannot be taken out of the paper feeding trays 16a, 16b, ..., detection parts (jam detection part) 17a, 17b, ... for detecting paper jamming at detection positions which at least include a position other than the position arranged for the paper feeding trays 16a, 16b, ..., and a control part 10 for executing a process of releasing lock for each paper feeding tray if paper jamming is detected at the jam detection parts 17a, 17b, ... under a condition in which the paper feeding trays 16a, 16b, ... are locked by the lock mechanisms 15a, 15b, ....</p> |
