PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer nano-fiber structure which has a plurality of pore structures inside it and does not cause peeling during an operation applying stress, e.g. bending.SOLUTION: A polymer nano-fiber structure is obtained by forming, on a substrate 1, a first layer 1a composed of polymer nano fibers accumulated irregularly by an electrospinning method and then forming a second layer 1b in which the pore structure is different from that of the first layer 1a by directing the longitudinal direction of polymer nano fibers on the side of the substrate of the first layer 1a to the thickness direction of the first layer 1a by cutting the first layer 1a for each substrate 17 and irradiating the first layer 1a with an argon beam 21 in parallel with the cross section from the side of the substrate 17 so as to obtain a polymer nano-fiber structure having a plurality of pore structures and no clear boundary.
