The present invention relates to the technical field of wireless communications, and especially relates to a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) user side device and an information processing method for solving the problem that a User Equipment (UE) cannot accurately choose the WLAN network due to the network information of the current WLAN being incomplete. The embodiment of the present invention provides a WLAN user side device, and the user side device includes : a first processing module, for receiving the network type information of WLAN transmitted by the WLAN network side device; a second processing module, for determining the way that the UE which is corresponding to the user side device uses the WLAN according to the network type information received by the first processing module. Since the user side device acquired the WLAN network type information, the way that the UE uses the WLAN can be determined according to the network type information of WLAN. Thereby the problem that a UE cannot accurately choose the WLAN network due to the network information of the current WLAN being incomplete is solved. |
