Provided are a system for controlling swelling of a blanket and a method for controlling swelling of a blanket by using the same, and the system for controlling swelling of a blanket comprises a measuring unit, a swelling control unit and a drying unit. The measuring unit comprises a first measuring unit for measuring a swelling state of a surface of a blanket, and a second measuring unit for measuring a swelling state of the inside of the blanket. The swelling control unit controls drying of the surface or inside of the blanket on the basis of the swelling state of the surface or inside of the blanket measured by the measuring unit. The drying unit dries the surface or inside of the blanket according to the control of the swelling control unit.
