This behavior-analyzing device is provided with the following: an involvement-status analysis unit (13) that, using index values pertaining to a plurality of types of behavior exhibited by users on a community website, analyzes the involvement status of each of a plurality of users on said community website for each of a plurality of time segments into which an analysis period is divided; a change-pattern identification unit (14) that, by analyzing how the involvement status of each user changed over the plurality of time segments, identifies a change pattern that is applicable to that user; and a relationship analysis unit (15) that, using participation-status information that indicates which of a plurality of campaigns each user participated in during the analysis period, analyzes the relationships between a plurality of change patterns and the plurality of campaigns by cross-tabulating the number of people participating in each campaign per change pattern. This behavior analysis device makes it possible to gain an understanding of cause-effect relationships between campaigns run to boost sales of products and changes in the behavior of users on a community website. |
