A modular pointed object location recognition apparatus using rotating optics according to the present invention comprises: pointed object location recognition units installed at opposite edges of an upper part of a display; a control module to control the operation of the pointed object location recognition apparatus; and a connecting member coupled to one side of the upper part of the display to connect the pointed object location recognition apparatus and the control module. By the constitution stated above, the modular pointed object location recognition apparatus using the rotating optics according to the present invention is configured to irradiate light in a direction parallel to a screen of the display using a light irradiation unit which simply rotates in forward and reverse directions, and to recognize a location of the point object by using a reflected light incident by reflecting the irradiated light on the pointed object. Therefore, the present apparatus can be simply installed on a random display panel because a separate reflection member does not need to be installed on the circumference of the display screen.
