PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for charging a battery of an energy storage system using a photovoltaic inverter for charging energy generated in a single-phase photovoltaic inverter to a battery of a single-phase energy storage system.SOLUTION: A system 100 for charging a battery of an energy storage system using a photovoltaic inverter includes: a photovoltaic inverter 120 configured to convert DC power generated in a photovoltaic module 110 into AC power and to output the AC power; and an energy storage system 130 configured to set a specific power value on the basis of the output power amount of the photovoltaic inverter 120 depending on the amount of solar radiation, and configured to charge a battery 132 in a charging mode selected from a constant current mode and a constant voltage mode on the basis of a result of comparison between the specific power value and input power generated in the photovoltaic module 110 and input from the photovoltaic inverter 120. |
