PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vascular index value calculation device that can calculate an index value showing a vascular state with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A frequency transfer characteristic vascular index value calculation device has: a pulse wave acquisition unit for acquiring first pulse wave data on a pulse wave of a first part and second pulse wave data on the pulse wave of a second part; a pulse wave frequency characteristic deriving unit for deriving a first frequency characteristic being the frequency characteristic of the first pulse wave from the first pulse wave data, and deriving a second frequency characteristic being the frequency characteristic of the second pulse wave from the second pulse wave data; a frequency transfer characteristic calculation unit for calculating a frequency transfer characteristic of a system for assuming the first pulse wave as an input and assuming the second pulse wave as an output; a frequency transfer characteristic correction unit for correcting the frequency transfer characteristic by weighting a frequency gain characteristic of the frequency transfer characteristic based on a frequency amplitude characteristic of the first frequency characteristic; a response calculation unit for calculating the response of the system to reference input using the corrected frequency transfer characteristic; and an index value calculation unit for calculating an index value based on the response calculated.
