PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, etc. capable of appropriately extracting a representative image even when it is difficult to continue to image a subject in a stable state due to characteristics of a living body and a change in imaging conditions.SOLUTION: An image processing device 1 includes a detection part 110 for detecting an abnormal region from a series of image groups acquired by sequentially imaging the inside of a lumen of a living body, and extracting an abnormal image including the abnormal region, a vicinity range setting part 120 for setting a vicinity range of the abnormal image in the series of image groups arranged in time-series order as a time-series vicinity range, an abnormal image group extraction part 130 for extracting an abnormal image group including the same abnormal range from the abnormal image extracted by the detection part 110 on the basis of the time-series vicinity range, and a representative image extraction part 140 for extracting a representative image from the abnormal image group.
