PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corded mower that enables a cord to be fed by knock-on or manual operation.SOLUTION: A corded mower is characterized as follows: a body has a pole part; a reel is externally inserted to the pole part; a ratchet wheel is externally inserted in the pole part and stored inside the reel, and is rotated in the same direction as the reel; the ring is mounted on the upper side of the reel; the top cap is fixed on the upper end of the pole part; reverse stop protrusions are arranged in the lower surface of the top cap; the ratchet wheel has a feeding claw and is pressed toward the top cap by a coil spring, and the feeding claw is locked in the reverse stop protrusion toward the feeding direction of the cord; the locking between the feeding claw and the reverse stop protrusion is released when the ratchet wheel drops by impact, and the reel can be rotated in the feeding direction; the ring has a release protrusion, and the feeding claw gets over the reverse stop protrusion and the reel rotates in the winding direction, when the ring is rotated in the winding direction of the cord; and the release protrusion comes into abutment with the feeding claw and pushes the ratchet wheel into the lower part when the ring is rotated in the feeding direction, and thereby the locking between the feeding claw and the reverse stop protrusion is released and the reel can be rotated in the feeding direction. |
