<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device capable of reducing capacitance of a smooth capacitor.SOLUTION: A power conversion device which converts AC power inputted from an AC power source 400 to DC power, includes: an AC-DC conversion circuit 100 having an input terminal connected to the AC power source 400 and for converting the AC power into the DC power to be outputted from an output terminal; a smooth capacitor 150 connected in parallel to the output terminal of the AC-DC conversion circuit 100; a DC link voltage detection means 33 to detect a DC link voltage which is a voltage of the smooth capacitor 150; and a control device 300 to control the AC-DC conversion circuit 100. The control device 300 controls an output power of the AC-DC conversion circuit based on the value of the DC link voltage when the DC link voltage is larger than a first predetermined value.</p> |
