An air filtration device for a locomotive composite cooler, an air inlet of a housing (2) is connected to an air outlet of a ventilator (1), and an air outlet of the housing (2) is connected to an air inlet of an oil-water heat sink (4); a filter element is an electrostatic metal plate (5) of a crossed and staggered grid piece (10) structure, is connected to a DC power supply and is insulated from the housing (2); a dust box (7) is of a funnel structure with one door on one side, and is located downstream from the electrostatic metal plate (5); micro objects in the air flow are adsorbed to the electrostatic metal plate (5) by means of static electricity; and due to the angle between the electrostatic metal plate (5) and an air flue axis in the housing (2), as well as the crossed and staggered grid piece group (8) structure, the micro objects are deposited onto the funnel dust box (7) along a diversion trench (9) under the dual function of wind power and gravity, thus effectively solving the problem of poor heat dissipation due to dust accumulation on cooling fins, and being easy to clean and dramatically improving cooling effect.
