In an energy management system (1), a power conditioning system supplies power from a commercial power source or power generated by a power generation system to a storage battery of an electric vehicle (110). A controller has: an estimation unit (1402) that estimates the length of time needed until the amount of stored power in the storage battery reaches a reference value, on the basis of the amount of stored power in the storage battery and the amount of power supplied to the storage battery; and a transmission unit (1403) that sends to a terminal the length of time estimated by the estimation unit (1402).
