PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide useful power interruption technology for a printing device in which, in a case where a user of a printer is present, power supply to the printer is not interrupted even in a power interruption time of a printing device, whereas in a case where the user forgot to shut out a computer, power supply to the printing device is interrupted to achieve energy saving.SOLUTION: A printer may have plural kinds of power interruption time. To each of the power interruption time, one of power interruption controls having different compulsion degrees for power interruption may be set. Every time each power interruption time set by a timer 1 elapses (S1200 to S1240), a power interruption method set to the presently elapsed power interruption time (power interruption control) is determined (S1245), and power interruption controls 1 to 4 having different compulsion degrees for power interruption are executed. |
