PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a fuel safe function that is able to inhibit an inverter from short-circuiting even in a case where a power source for a circuit that drives the inverter fails.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine has a high-voltage circuit area connected to a high-voltage DC power source, and a low-voltage circuit area insulated from the high-voltage circuit area. The high-voltage circuit area includes an inverter 10, an inverter control device 3, and a control signal drive circuit 7 for relaying a switching control signal. The control signal driving circuit 7 includes a driving circuit system power source PS1 that supplies power to the control signal drive circuit 7. The control signal drive circuit 7 also performs a protecting operation in a case where the control signal drive circuit 7 or inverter 10 malfunctions. A high-voltage DC power source monitor signal Vx generated by dividing the power source voltage of the high-voltage DC power source is input to the inverter control circuit 3. The high-voltage DC power source monitor signal Vx is also input to the positive-electrode-side power source input part Vin of the control signal drive circuit 7. |
