<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing device that enables even a beginner to properly and easily perform gain control of a signal, and a program.SOLUTION: A recommended minimum value and a recommended maximum value regarding a level of a signal are stored for each category representing a type of the signal. The recommended minimum value and the recommended maximum value are determined on the basis of e.g., a dynamic range of the signal of the type. The signal processing device includes means which sets a gain for adjusting the level of the signal to be inputted in response to user operation, and means for setting the category. Meter means is provided for meter display of the level of the signal level-adjusted by the set gain and correspondently to the meter display by the meter means, the recommended minimum value and the recommended maximum value of the set category are presented.</p> |
