<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily processing a band material comprising an elastic material and capable of reducing impressions remaining on a sheet material.SOLUTION: There is provided a processing method for a band material (40) disposed along the cutting blade of a punching die for sheet materials and comprising an elastic material for pressing the sheet materials when cutting them. The method includes the processes of: preparing an elastic plate (10) having a surface (11) and a rear face (12); forming on the elastic plate (10), a bottomed groove (13) whose surface (11) side is chamfered using a router (20); cutting the elastic plate (10) in which the bottomed groove (13) is formed along the groove width (X) of a bottom part in a thickness direction using a first cutting member (31); and cutting the elastic plate (10) having the bottomed groove (13) so as to become a prescribed band width (Y) and to separate from the elastic plate (10) using a second cutting member (32).</p> |
