The present invention relates to an external light blocking optical structure of an OLED image display. The OLED display for irradiating light by receiving an external image signal has a conventional structure for absorbing light reflected from a metal surface of a non-opening part of an OLED device, and comprises a phase difference plate and a polarizing plate. The present invention relates to an external light preventing structure for minimizing a decrease in brightness which is a problem of an external light preventing means consisting of a phase difference plate and a polarizing plate. Light irradiated for each pixel is in a non-linear polarizing state, and light in a non-polarizing linear state, which is polarized in a different direction from a polarizing plate penetration axis on the polarizing plate, is almost absorbed. According to the present invention, the polarizing plate and phase difference plate are not prepared, and an external light preventing sheet is prepared, so loss of brilliance is prevented and an external light reflection plate which is advantageous even in terms of costs is provided. A lenticular lens-shaped external light preventing plate or sheet is prepared in left and right sides of an image display to provide an external light preventing means, thereby improving brilliance. |
