PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate, a manufacturing method of a laminate, an electrostatic capacitance type touch panel, and an image display device, in which a decorative printing layer formed by black ink on an outer edge part of a back surface of a transparent panel substrate is not damaged when a transparent electrode layer and a wiring layer of a touch panel are patterned by laser processing.SOLUTION: A top plate 11 includes: a transparent panel substrate 1; a decorative printing layer 3 having a two-layer structure composed of a black decorative printing layer 3B and a white decorative printing layer 3W which are formed on an outer edge part of a back surface of the transparent panel substrate 1; planarization resin layer 4 formed over a surface of the transparent panel substrate 1, on which the decorative printing layer 3 is formed, so as to cover the area over the decorative printing layer 3 and the transparent panel substrate 1; and a transparent electrode layer 6 formed on a back surface of the planarization resin layer and having a wiring layer 6A. The wiring layer 6A and the transparent electrode layer 6 of the top plate 11 are patterned by laser processing of an infrared laser from a back surface side of the decorative printing layer 3. A second layer contacting with the planarization resin layer 4 is set to be the white decorative printing layer 3W. |
