PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for cell culture which can avoid circumstances in which a cell that migrates on a conductive area intrudes onto another conductive area.SOLUTION: This invention provides an electrode for cell culture in which a plurality of conductive areas are provided on base material comprising insulation material. At least part of a surface of the base material between the plurality of conductive areas is dented as compared with a surface other than the surface of the base material between the plurality of conductive areas.
