<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient and accurate end measurement method that has a high degree of freedom of the installation position of a laser scanner in measuring the end position of a measuring object using the laser scanner.SOLUTION: A target serving as an object of laser irradiation is mounted while the end of the target is aligned to the end of a measuring object, the surface information of the target is acquired by a laser scanner, a target end position facing the measuring object is calculated on the basis of the acquired surface information, and the end position of the measuring object is detected. In the measurement method, a target having a shape obtained by combining a regular octahedron with a cube suitable for detecting the target end from the information acquired by laser scan is used.</p> |
