<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive cesium adsorptive fibre that efficiently adsorbs radioactive cesium, enables recovery and volume reduction processing of the adsorbed radioactive cesium by simple processing, and furthermore, has the recovered radioactive cesium integrated with the fibre, in which in turn the recovered radioactive cesium does not fall, and to provide a manufacturing method of the radioactive cesium adsorptive fibre.SOLUTION: By causing a chelate fibre made up of a natural fibre, recycle fibre or synthetic fibre to carry a ferrocyanic acid metal salt in a state causing the ferrocyanic acid metal salt to be chemically combined to the chelate fibre via a metal ion such as Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ti, Cr and Mn chelated to the chelate fibre, a radioactive cesium adsorptive fibre is formed. The radioactive cesium adsorptive fibre is configured to be manufactured by forming a composite material made up of a fibre and the ferrocyanic acid metal salt via the metal ion strongly chelating to the fibre (chelate fibre) having chelate chemical compounds bonded.</p> |
