<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surrounding air taking amount control technology at a surrounding air cooling and air conditioning system that is preferable at a data center storing an ICT device and the like.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a surrounding air cooling and air conditioning system for taking surrounding air into an air conditioning room, supplying a part or all of the surrounding air to a space to be air conditioned directly, or after mixing the surrounding air with returning air and passing them through the air conditioner. This is operated while changing a surrounding air taking-in amount in a stepwise manner within a prescribed range in respect to a prescribed cooling load, a surrounding air fan consumption electrical power (Wa(i)) and an air conditioner consumption electrical power (Wm(i)) under each of the surrounding air taking-in amount condition (Ga(i)) are taken and the operation is continued under a surrounding air taking-in amount condition where a total consumption electrical power (Wt(i)=Wa(i)+Wm(i)) is minimum.</p> |
