<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a coal level in a coke oven, enabling the coal level to be more accurately controlled even when higher temperature coal is charged in the coke oven.SOLUTION: There is provided the method for controlling a coal level in a coke oven 1 in which a plurality of carbonization chambers 2 having a plurality of coal charging ports 4 in an oven width direction are arranged in an oven battery length direction and coal having a high temperature of 120°C or more is supplied. The method is used for, specifically, controlling the coal level in the coke oven 1 when a larry car 10 including a plurality of pieces of supply equipment for charging the coal into each coal charging port 4 is moved to a position of the carbonization chamber 2 to be charged to charge the coal in each coal charging port 4 from each supply equipment. The method enables the coal to be charged in such a manner that a set charge weight being the weight of the coal charged in a corresponding coal charging port 4 from each supply system satisfies (a set charge weight)=(an average value of set charge weights of past N times)/(an average value of actual charge levels of past N times)×(a set charge level).</p> |
