摘要 A display device includes a display panel, a timing controller, a gate driver, and a data driver. The display panel includes a display area for displaying an image and a non-display area adjacent to one side of the display area. The display area includes gate lines, data lines, gate dummy lines, a data contact portion, and pixels. The data lines cross and are isolated from at least a part of the gate lines. The gate dummy lines are parallel with and are spaced from the gate lines. The data contact portion couples the gate dummy lines and the data lines at one side of a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.

A display device comprising: a display panel including a display area for displaying an image and a non-display area adjacent the display area at one side in a first direction, wherein the display area comprises: a plurality of gate lines;a plurality of data lines crossing at least a part of the plurality of gate lines, the at least the part of the plurality of gate lines being isolated from the plurality of data lines;a plurality of gate dummy lines spaced apart from and being parallel with the plurality of gate lines;a data contact portion coupling a gate dummy line of the plurality of gate dummy lines and a data line of the plurality of data lines at one side of the display area in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; anda plurality of pixels each coupled to a gate line of the plurality of gate lines and the data line; a timing controller configured to output a first control signal, a second control signal, and a data signal in response to the first control signal and an input image signal; a gate driver configured to generate a gate signal based on the first control signal and to output the gate signal to the plurality of gate lines via the non-display area; and a data driver comprising a plurality of channels, wherein based on the second control signal, the data driver is configured to invert a polarity of a data voltage obtained by converting the data signal, by the plurality of channels, and output the data voltage with the inverted polarity to the plurality of channels, the data voltage being provided to the plurality of data lines via the non-display area.
