determining a head pose of a user of a head-mounted augmented reality display system; determining a perceived location of an audio object in relation to the determined head pose of the user, wherein the audio object corresponds to a predetermined sound data; and dynamically altering one or more parameters of the predetermined sound data based at least in part on the determined perceived location of the audio object in relation to the determined head pose of the user.
