Disclosed are an interconnection system and apparatus, and a data transmission method. In the interconnection system, data to be transmitted is converted into a data packet in the form of an optical signal for transmission, a control packet corresponding to the data packet is transmitted in the form of an electrical signal and comprises routing information of the data packet; when the control packet passes through a switching node, the switching node directly determines a neighboring node as a next hop according to the routing information in the control packet, and enables an optical path that is in the switching node and is used for transmitting the data packet, so as to transmit the data packet. During the whole transmission process, neither the control packet nor the data packet needs an optical-to-electrical conversion or an electrical-to-optical conversion; therefore, the problem of the extra time delay and power consumption caused by electrical-optical-electrical conversions can be reduced, thereby improving the efficiency of data transmission. |
