The conventional automotive electric wires having small diameters have such disadvantages that the strength of a conductive body therein is often poor and the fixing strength to a terminal is often decreased. The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a copper alloy strand which enables the provision of an automotive electric wire in which a conductive body has high strength and which has excellent fixing strength to a terminal; a copper alloy twisted wire; and an automotive electric wire manufactured using the copper alloy strand or the copper alloy twisted wire. A means for solving the problem is a copper alloy strand which has such a chemical component composition that at least one additive element selected from the group consisting of Fe, Ti, Sn, Ag, Mg, Zn, Cr and P is contained in the total amount of 0.45% to 2.0% by mass inclusive, H is contained in an amount of 10 ppm by mass or less, and Cu and unavoidable impurities make up the remainder. |
