<p>A vehicle fan, in particular for a vehicle air-conditioning system, has an impeller (14), which is driven by an electric motor (16), and a fan housing (12). The electric motor (16) is accommodated in a motor compartment (35) which is surrounded circumferentially at least in certain portions by a dividing wall (34) formed in the fan housing (12). An air outlet (18), through which a main flow (L) of the air sucked in by the impeller (14) is transported away, is formed in the fan housing (12). A cooling-air supply duct (20), on whose lower end a water-collecting container (28) is arranged, branches off from the air outlet (18). The cooling-air supply duct (20) is connected to a cooling-air duct (32) which extends along the dividing wall (34) radially outside the motor compartment (35), and the cooling-air supply duct (20) is connected via a cooling-air inlet opening (36) to the motor compartment (35) enclosed by the dividing wall (34).</p> |
