<p>The present invention provides a structure for a rear part of a vehicle body, which can increase the rigidity and strength of a rear wheel cover while preventing the narrowing of vehicle interior. The structure (1) for the rear part of the vehicle body is characterized by comprising a rear wheel cover (5) and a rear side frame (2). The rear wheel cover (5) includes a rear damper accommodation part (8) which bulges inwardly in the vehicle width direction and is used for accommodating a rear damper (20); and a rear damper support part (9) which is arranged on the upper wall of the rear damper accommodation part (8) and used for supporting the rear damper (20). The rear side frame (2) extends along the rear damper accommodation part (8). The rear damper accommodation part (8) is provided with a ridge (10) extending in the up-down direction. A reinforcing component is arranged on the outer side in the vehicle width direction of the rear damper accommodation part (8), and extends in the up-down direction. The lower end of the reinforcing component is supported on the rear side frame.</p> |
