In the present invention, there is disclosed a lock barrel (2) for a cylinder lock, which comprises a key channel (9) for inserting therein a flat key (14) with a code edge (20) on one side and a guide edge (21) on the other side, at least one radial channel (8) entering into the key channel (9) and at least one coding tumbler (10) mounted slidably in the radial channel (8). The lock barrel (2) is provided with on its outer circumference with at least one slot (22, 25) arranged at a certain distance from both the inlet and end of the key channel (9). In said slot (22, 25), there is removably arranged at least one guide stop (23, 26) having a bearing surface, which at least partially mates with cylindrical surface of the lock barrel (2), and a working area, a portion oc which reaches into the key channel (9) in its region for guiding the key (14) guide edge (21), whereby the guide stop (23, 26) has in the area, by which it reaches into the key channel (9), at least one cutout for guiding the key (14) guide edge, whereby said cutout is narrower in the radial cross section through the lock tumbler if compared with the key channel (9) in its region for guiding the key (14) guide edge. |
