<p>An apparatus for tracking the movement of a plurality of pointers (e.g. pens) is able to identify and differentiate between the pens. The apparatus includes an image capture device (e.g. IR camera 20) captures images of a scene and a transmitter for transmitting different trigger signals. Pointer devices for indicating (12, 14, 16) their location include a light emitting device (e.g. an infra-red light emitting device) and a receiver for receiving trigger signals (e.g. pen 1 on, pen 1 off etc). The light is captured allowing the pointer device to be tracked. The scene may include a projected or displayed image.</p> |
