PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing utensil which enables or disables the delivering operation of a lead core, corresponding to the type of refill to be fitted.SOLUTION: The writing utensil includes a barrel 10 and a refill retractable mechanism A for selectively retracting a plurality of refills 21, 22 from the barrel 10, wherein the refill retractable mechanism A is reciprocated by an external operation to deliver the lead core from the refill 21 for a mechanical pencil projecting by means of the refill retractable mechanism A. The writing utensil further includes a switching means B which switches the refill retractable mechanism A into a reciprocating state or a non-reciprocating state. |
