PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink composition, and especially an inkjet ink composition using a pigment, which can directly print not only an absorptivity substrate but also a poorly absorbable substrate such as a polyvinyl chloride sheet without using an IR lamp and a hot air drying process.SOLUTION: The water-based ink composition for printing the poorly absorbable substrate is the water-based ink composition which at least includes: a pigment; a dispersant comprising dispersing the pigment; one or more water-soluble organic solvents in which the boiling point at the normal pressure is at least 100°C; and water, wherein the water-soluble organic solvent includes a (poly)alkylene glycol dialkyl ethers solvent and an alcoholic solvent. |
