Systems and methods are disclosed that relate to engine operations involving fuelling and throttle control for thermal management of the aftertreatment system (50a) of the first cylinder bank (34a) while the other cylinder bank (34b) are fuelled to satisfy a portion of the torque request to the engine that is not satisfied by the thermally managed cylinder bank (34a). |
