PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium conveying device that can suck the air without affecting the appearance of the device to cool recording media.SOLUTION: A conveying unit 112 has a heat receiving belt 116 and a pressing belt 130, a third door 25, an introduction port 131A that is provided at a lower part of the third door 25 to take in the outside air, and a door side duct 131. The conveying unit 112 further has a supply port 131B that is formed at an upper part of the door side duct 131, an exhaust duct 121 through which the air from the supply port 131B flows, and an exhaust fan 128 that exhausts the air inside the exhaust duct 121. Here, when the conveying unit 112 cools a sheet member P, the conveying unit 112 sucks the air from the introduction port 131A at the lower part of the third door 25 and does not suck the air from the front side of the third door 25, so as to suck the air without affecting the appearance of the conveying unit 112 to cool the sheet member P. |
