A tide embankment (1) is composed of an alternating arrangement, in a planar shape, of bulging parts (4) that protrude seaward, and trough parts (5) recessed landward and disposed between the bulging parts (4). The contour line of the cross-section of the bulging parts (4) forms a convex arc (b) seaward and stands erect from the bottom part (a), reaches the apex (c) of the arc (b), thereafter temporarily falls before forming a convex curved line (d) landward to form an overhang. The contour line of the cross-section of the trough parts (5) forms a convex curved line (g) seaward and stands erect from the bottom part (f), then gradually falls landward, and thereafter forms a convex curved line (h) landward to form an overhang.
|
