<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope apparatus which allows a static image desired by a user to be stored in a compact data size. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic endoscope apparatus includes an electronic endoscope for outputting an endoscope image as a video signal, a monitor, and an electronic endoscope processor which processes the video signal to generate a display image including the endoscope image, and outputs the display image to the monitor. The electronic endoscope apparatus further includes: an operation part for receiving input from a user; a frame memory for storing a display image as a static image for one frame in response to input to the operation part; an image area extracting means for extracting a prescribed image area including the endoscope image among display images stored in the frame memory; and an image data storage means for storing the image area extracted by the image area extraction means as one image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
