The invention relates to a fan nozzle (10), in particular for a high-pressure cleaning apparatus, with a nozzle body (12) through which a flow duct (24) for a fluid passes, wherein the flow duct (24) defines a nozzle opening (32) and comprises a jet-forming section (28) which is mounted upstream of the nozzle opening (32) in the flow direction (30) of the fluid and in which the flow cross section of the flow duct (24) continuously tapers. In order to develop the fan nozzle in such a manner that, when a fan jet is formed, the fluid is subject to only small flow losses and the fan nozzle can be produced cost-effectively, it is proposed according to the invention that the jet-forming section (28) has a region in which the flow cross section of the flow duct (24) merges continuously from a circular shape into an elliptical shape. |
