<p>A modular cyclonic separator comprises separating tubes 3 each including an air-guiding impeller 32 that is fixed coaxially in an outer tube body 31 and that is formed with spiral channels 322 for causing an airflow, which flows radially into the separating tube 3 to follow a cyclonic flow pattern through a separating chamber 310 in the separating tube 3, thereby separating some of solid impurities from the airflow within the separating chamber 310. Each separating tube 3 is capable of connecting selectively with one or two three-port valves 4 to form a first filtration module A or second filtration module B. In the first filtration module A the airflow enters the separation tube 3 by passing through a first fluid passage 43 of three-port valve 4 and exits through a second fluid passage 44 of the same three-port valve 4. In the second filtration module B the airflow enters the separation tube 3 by passing through a first fluid passage 43 of one three-port valve 4 and exits through a second fluid passage 44 of a second three-port valve 4.</p> |
