<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virus and microorganism removal device suppressing decline in a function to capture viruses and microorganisms. <P>SOLUTION: The virus and microorganism removal device includes: an air duct casing 10; an air blower 1 taking air into the air duct casing 10; a charging part 60 installed within the air duct casing 10 and charging floating substances taken in together with air by the air blower 1; a filter 6 installed within the air duct casing 10 and capturing the floating substances charged by the charging part 60; an inactivation part 61 installed on the downstream side of the charging part 60 within the air duct casing 10, having two electrodes 5, 7 arranged opposing to each other at a predetermined interval sandwiching the filter 6, inducing electricity to the filter 6 by application of voltage to the two electrodes 5, 7 and inactivating the floating substances captured by the filter 6; an automatic cleaning mechanism 11 removing the floating substances captured by the filter 6; and a control part 50 controlling the automatic cleaning mechanism 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
